Harmony Sound Waves Women's A Capella Chorus

Harmony Sound Waves was chartered in September 1992, in New Smyrna Beach, as a chapter of Harmony, Inc.  We are an organization that includes women of all ages and are recognized for the barbershop style of singing.  Our chorus performs for clubs, civic organizations, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

 

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are Mondays at 6:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 509 Magnolia St.,
New Smyrna Beach, FL.  All are welcome to visit.  Singing is a great way to meet friends, learn new songs, and keep healthy.  For more information, contact Aura Daye

Harmony Sound Waves has 25 members under the direction of Greg Patterson.  Greg graduated from Central Missouri State University, with a degree in vocal music. Besides being the Director of Harmony Sound Waves, he also spends free time singing in two quartets, as well as singing with a men's barbershop chorus in Orlando, FL

 

Community Outreach 

Harmony Sound Waves is supporting local elementary and middle school music programs by donating music, programming materials, and money for costumes.
